Impact Imaging was established in July 1998 by Samuel and Sandra Jefferson as a retailer/distributorship of new and remanufactured imaging supplies for printers, fax machines, and copiers. Our target customer is any business, organization, agency, establishment, or person operating imaging equipment. Remanufactured toner cartridges are the primary focus of our business because of the value and quality we can offer to our customers. As a small business, we keep overhead as low as possible to be competitive. We also contribute the success of our company to our commitment to quality products, and fast, dependable service.
Impact Imaging started as a partnership in 1998, and was incorporated in October 1999. The founders and owners, Samuel Jefferson and Sandra Jefferson contribute over 50 years of combined experience from professional and corporate environments. Each has a Bachelor of Science degree.
Samuel, who serves as President of the company has extensive experience in restaurant and food service management positions, as well as military service. His main duties in the daily operations of the business are to control and maintain financial records, develop and manage government contracts, and contract employees. This experience has led to his appointment as Chairman of the Board of the Man-U Service Contract Trust Fund, which oversees assets of over 15 million dollars and members of over 2,200. Sandra, who serves as CEO of the company has an extensive background in sales and marketing. Her career started as a retail buyer working with several major retailers on the east coast before going into sales of office equipment and supplies. Sandra’s primary duties in the daily operations of the business are prospecting new and developing customers, maintaining competitive pricing, overseeing customer service and the day to day operations of a business.
The positive growth and increasing net profits each year of Impact Imaging is attributed to the ambitions, specific goals, strategic management, and hard work of the partners. We were certified with the SBA as a Federal Government 8(a) concern in February 1999. We are also recognized as a small, woman owned minority business, certified by the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council, the Richmond Metropolitan Business League, the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise and a member of the Better Business Bureau of Central Virginia Inc. since 2002.
From 2004 to 2013, a partnership with Corporate Express, now Staples, made it possible for Impact Imaging to expand and market a complete line of Office Products, Technology Supplies, ‘Green’ Janitorial Supplies and Furniture!
